USAID-SOLID Broiler Production Management Program.

This short video illustrates success stories of three small-scale poultry farmers living in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka. The farmers are graduates of the Broiler Management Training Program, conducted by USAID Supporting Opportunities for Livelihood Development (SOLID) activity – under the Asia and Middle East Economic Growth Best Practices project. The video highlights the social and economic background of the three farmers prior to their enrollment in the SOLID Broiler Program, and their current work with poultry. The farmers share their journey with SOLID, and how it has helped them become successful poultry farmers.
