Ruined King - Round 1

Okay, I have no idea how I managed to make this on time. Had so much trouble. Pc dying twice, SV deleting my files, lost my blocking.. yet here we are. Hope you guys like it because it took sweat and tears to pull it off 8'D

Story:
As chaos starts and everyone starts getting arrested by Elias' guards, Jacob spots his best friend in the croud and they exchange looks in shock, not expecting to find each other in a place like that. Before Jacob can do or say anything, he spots Elias holding a potion he instantly recognizes. He tries to warn everyone but it's too late; the smoke fills the area and everything turns black. As a memory comes back to him, he wakes up to the voice of his sister calling for him, seeing that they're in fact, in prison.

He spots his best friend on the floor and gets back to reality with his sister calling for him again. Hearing that she's on the other side of the wall they talk as he tries to calm her down, worried for her sake. He knows if he panics, so will she. After she indeed calms down, he turns around and goes to check on Arthur, who's confused seeing him with different hair colour. Jacob helps him out ignoring his question and sees his friend panic as he finds out his sister Mabel was there as well. Yet the words he says after getting thrown back by the bars confuse him. What did he mean with him still being himself? Eventually he sits down next to him and they exchange words, with Jacob trying to explain to him what's going on. Suddenly, the queen herself appears, setting them free and asking them to follow her. Before doing so, Jacob and Fawn reunite with a hug and she changes his hair and eye colour again because, why not?

As they walk through the sewers Fawn asks about Arthur and Jacob introduces them. Fawn-seeing a chance to tease her brother-mentions to Arthur how much Jacob has told her about him, which makes him blush in embarrassment. The conversation dies soon after with both Arthur and Jacob remembering Mabel, unsure of her fate.

Once they're outside, trouble soon finds them as they spot guards running after them. In the chaos, they split and Jacob realizes her sister's gone, which makes him innerly panic. As Emil starts giving orders to all of them to fight back, he decides to be more practical and create some smoke to blind the guards and gain some time. While the "captain" gets salty about it, Jacob inquires to him that he should've asked. They run with the others gaining some distance thanks to Adelaide using vines to slow them down, and as they cross the bridge, Dragon gets caught by one of the guards. Jacob, enraged, decides to stop them but before he can do so the same man he just teased jumped into action and saved her friend as Saman cut the rope that kept the bridge together. Now safe, Jacob goes to Dragon, making sure she's alright while glancing suspiciously at Emil.

They all leave and reunite with the others soon after, but he notices Arthur's missing. He asks his sister about him and she tells him that "he looks different". He looks around confused until he spots a golden bear. Hesitant he calls for his friend to which the bear approaches him showing that indeed, it is him. Shocked at first, he stays speechless until he starts petting him, amazed by that. As Arthur speaks he startles Jacob, who jumps back and composes himself as much as he can.

Soon after, Maverick suggests a place where they can be safe if they decide to follow him. As Jacob listens from a distance, Adelaide approaches him and asks if they had met before. Confused at first, he's about to say no until a vague memory comes back to him..
