Illustrator - Flat portrait icon - Quick and Easy to Make

Create a quick and easy flat portrait icon in Illustrator.

Even if you can't draw you can still draw an icon like this in Illustrator. You will learn how to make the body and shading for the chin using basic shapes and simple drawn shapes. The eyes and nose are simple shapes and the mouth and eyebrows are simple to make.

You will learn how to draw the hair as two shapes and then how to add an organic shadow to the shape - which is optional. Finish off by clipping the icon to a circular shape and add a border to it.

You will learn techniques for speeding up the design of the illustration and for avoiding problems. The finished icon can be saved ready to use fro the web or as an avatar.
