Ghost in the Shell - Story Explanation and Analysis

Thank you so much to Lady_Lavender, from my Discord server, for giving me the "OK" for this video's script. She's an anime fan, so she knows what she's talking about. I have been wanting to do a video on Ghost in the Shell for about three years now. It has taken me this long because I feel like discussing and dissecting this archetype of anime would be somewhat risky. As many of my regular viewers already know, I try to bring something original to each video I do. That becomes increasingly difficult when the piece I am analyzing has already been scrutinized inside-out and backwards. Worse yet, I am at a disadvantage compared to other fans because I have not engaged with the world of anime as much as I would like to. I hope that I have inspired trust within you by acknowledging these realities up front. I would not have done this video unless I could find a new way to celebrate this film’s magnificence.
