Volvo 960, S90, V90 Timing Belt Replacement. Part 1 of 2 - Auto Repair Series

Timing belt replacement without water pump: 4 to 6 hours, With water pump 5 to 7 hours.

This video will show you how to replace the timing belt, water pump, idler roller, tensioner roller and tensioner on a Volvo 960, S90 and V90. It should take you 3 to 4 hours. Make sure you have all parts on hand prior to starting the job.

The only tool not mentioned is the short 3/8" extension.

Torque values:
- Tensioner Roller, 30 Ft Lbs.
- Idler Roller, 18 Ft Lbs.
- Hydraulic Tensioner, 18 Ft Lbs.
- Water Pump, 15 Ft Lbs.
