Fed’s Bostic: Policy Rate Sufficiently Restrictive to Get Inflation to 2%

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Raphael Bostic said, “I actually don’t think we need to increase rates anymore,” as he spoke about bringing inflation back to the Fed’s 2% target. Bostic said he does not have a recession in his outlook on the dot plot during comments Tuesday at the annual convention for the American Bankers Association.
