Chicago CTA Historic 4000-Series L Train on Chicago Loop for 125th Anniversary of L

The Chicago Transit Authority brought out their two 4000-Series train cars that were built in 1923 to Chicago's Loop on June 6, 2017 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the L train in Chicago. The two cars are part of the CTA's Heritage Fleet and only rarely make appearances on the tracks. These two cars are the last two maintained by the CTA of the 4000-Series cars. The train made its way around the inner loop for about 1.5 hours.
