Ken Chenault of AmEx: Define Reality and Give Hope

American Express Chairman and CEO, Ken Chenault, speaks with students about how to build a culture of performance and loyalty. He knows something about loyalty, having worked at American Express since 1981. In that time, he has led through multiple crises, and he discusses leadership lessons he learned from 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis. He is interviewed by Roanak Desai, a second-year MBA student at Stanford.
