Family Planning | We're Home | 2021 | Family Routine

We’re home from our Family Road Trip to Lake Tahoe and its time to hit the ground running with getting back in routine and setting up for the new year. We had started 2020 with a family meeting to talk not only about what we wanted from the year, but also the values that we were going to live by. It was so rewarding to do so, and looking back on 2020, we see how these things kept us grounded through the hard times. Even with canceling a lot of travel plans and being cooped up at home, we came together and grew as a family, and we attribute all of that to our family meeting. Thus, we wanted to start 2021 on the same foot, and realize how important it is to do so since we are embarking on a new set of adventures which will bring with it a lot of change.

As the week lead up to our family meeting, we were reminded of how blessed we are to have amazing friends here in Oregon who welcomed us home with open arms, who continue to support us through huge changes, and celebrate with us the hard work and dedication that has led us to where we are. What a way to start the new year!
