Orienting your anvil - horn to the left? or horn to the right?
Blacksmiths can have strong opinions on which way to point the horn on the anvil. Should the horn on the anvil be toward the hammer hand or should it point to the tong hand? I think there are other things to consider besides just the horn direction. While some blacksmiths will tell you you are wrong if it isn't the way they do it, I hope to give you some pros and cons that will let you make your own choice.
