Today I snuck into the Chinese version of VRChat to conduct a funny social experiment — would the average Chinese VR user believe that an American can speak fluent Mandarin? And if so, what would they think about him? How would they relate? Would they like it? Think it’s weird? Well, I went and found out! People’s reactions to this prank of sorts were absolutely hilarious and I also made some genuine connections with people. The experience really moved me and I hope you all enjoy the video!
