This is Patti Marine Enterprises, February 6th 2016, launch of the DEFENDER. The 170 foot fishing vessel is owned by Global Seas out of Seattle, WA. The DEFENDER was once the WESTERN VENTURE. Along with the new name and the PATTI REBUILT DEFENDER has become the first fish pumping vessel in Global Seas fleet and the second known pumping vessel in US waters. The DEFENDER will be equipped with the largest wet fish hold capacity in the USA, with a capacity in excess of 2 million pounds.
