The latest model in the Chetak lineup is the Bajaj Chetak 35 series. The electric scooter is available in three variants – 3501, 3502, and 3503. As the name suggests, the Chetak 35 series is powered by a 3.5kWh battery pack and has more features than the other models.

The Bajaj Chetak harks back to its roots by taking design cues from the iconic Chetak and giving it a contemporary and fresh look. It uses sheet metal body panels that offer a premium touch, while the smooth flowing lines, LED lighting, and turn signals with sequential blinking similar to high-end cars add to its modernity.

The top-spec Chetak 3501 variant comes with a TFT touchscreen display with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and music control, and SMS and call alerts. The mid-spec 3502 variant misses out on a touchscreen display but gets a colour TFT console. Meanwhile, the base variant makes do with a simpler LCD unit.

The Bajaj Chetak 35 series is powered by a 4kW electric motor that offers a peak torque of 20Nm. It is paired with a 3.5kWh IP67 lithium-ion battery pack that delivers a certified range of 153km. The scooter has a top speed of 73kmph

The electric scooter gets LED illumination, 35-litre underseat storage, and an 80mm longer seat compared to the other Chetak models. In terms of cycle parts, it is suspended by a monoshock at both ends and rides on 12-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear.
