Wildlife Photography Lenses: 300mm f/4, 400mm f/5.6, 500mm f/4 (My Lens Evolution)
Lenses for Wildlife Photography Canon. Since I got serious about wildlife photography many moons ago, I've owned three lenses as I've gradually upgraded. Whilst still using film I started out with a Canon 300mm f4 (often paired up with a 1.4x extender) before progressing on to the Canon 400mm f5.6 fixed lens. Finally I purchased a Canon 500mm f4 Mark i which is my biggest and most expensive lens. In this video I describe my journey and how I've used each lens, including the advantages and disadvantages. There's lots of sample images taken with each of the three lenses.
Filmed with Canon M50 and 15-45mm lens.
Equipment: Canon 1DX Mark i, Canon 300mm f4 (Non IS), Canon 400mm f/5.6 EF, Canon 500mm f4 EF Mark i
I'm a big fan of the 400mm f5.6 fixed lens - it's great value for money. See the review I did here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1ruZeVwxHk If you are considering buying this lens then please use this link: https://amzn.to/2AnX8q8 as I will receive a small commission from Amazon which helps to grow my channel.
My equipment: If you purchase any of these items, that I use and recommend, through the Amazon links, I receive a small commission which is massively appreciated and it helps me to keep creating new videos.
