GDP (PPP): US States vs Chinese Provinces (1960-2026)
The video compares the GDP (PPP) of American states with Chinese provinces from 1960 to 2026 (projections by IMF). GDP (PPP) is gross domestic product converted to international dollars using purchasing power parity rates. An international dollar has the same purchasing power over GDP as the U.S. dollar has in the United States.
