Octaver | Effects and Plug-ins Included in Cubase

The Cubase Octaver plug-in lets you add an octave, or two octaves, below your signal and blend the amount of signal to enhance the low frequencies of an audio track. Using it with the stereo enhancer, with careful use of the color dial, can ensure you have a pleasingly bright sound in the mix. An octaver effect is often used on live bass guitars so, for live performance recordings, adding it to a non-effected, DI’d bass guitar can enhance the sound. Combining the octaver with EQ in your DAW can make sure you have a tightly controlled sound in your audio production.
