Vanmahotsava Celebration in Utorda

The villagers of Utorda organized celebration of Vanmahotsava in partnership with Nuvem Block Congress Committee on 5th July 2020. Everson Vales, Neves Pereira and Raju Cabral spoke on the occasion. The villagers of Utorda planted saplings alongside the Utorda beach road. Fruit bearing saplings were distributed among the villagers to plant the same in their gardens or properties. This is the first time in the history of Utorda that such an event has taken place. The planting of saplings alongside the beach road has given a new look to the road. The simple function was largely attended.
