Ingredients
Ingredients for Debla
2 כוסות cups flour (350 g)
3 eggs the size of m
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon of vinegar
2 tablespoons water
Flour for working surfaces
Ingredients for syrup
2 cups of sugar
1 cup water
Juice from half a lemon
Colored candies for decoration
A pint of oil for frying the dip
Instructions
Prepare the dough - Place 2 1/2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 3 eggs, and put to a uniform mass. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for about 10 minutes (up to half an hour).
After 10 minutes flour the work surface, place the dough on the work surface, flour and roll it thin, thin (recommended pasta machine). Cut in a serrated pulley strips length 30/5 cm, after cutting again roll finely thin along and set aside for 10 minutes rest.
Prepare the syrup - place 2 cups sugar, a glass of tap water and place on a medium flame. Bring to a boil, reduce flame, add half a lemon juice and cook until the liquid is clear. Cook for another 5 minutes and turn off flame.
Now, continue with the strips of dough. In a non-large pot on medium heat, heat half a liter of oil. When the oil is hot roll a tip of dough on a long fork and hold the other end. Put the tip of the fork into the oil and every time you see the dough changing its color and swell a little, turn the fork in your direction until all the strips of dough are finished. Remove the fork, fry it for another minute from all directions and transfer it to the strainer to filter the oil. When the frying is finished, transfer the dips one by one to the syrup. · Turn them in syrup about three times and transfer them to the tray.
When the drips cool, sprinkle them with colored candies.
