Street Hospital paramedics Benjamin and Steff treat a girl who won't stop screaming. They find a drunk in the toilets of a fast-food restaurant who gets slapped into shape by his girlfriend and then a call comes in from a young pregnant woman who's about to give birth in the basement of a nightclub.

Street Hospital follows a team of Wellington Free Ambulance paramedics and their tireless, often comical, frequently frustrating and sometimes life-saving work on the front line of the city's busiest party street.
