Social Decision-Making & Revictimization amoung Interpersonal Violence Vicitims

We often focus on emotion-related aspects of functioning among victims of assaultive violence exposure, such as level of anxiety and ability to regulate emotions. However, in line with clinical experience, emerging research is beginning to characterize and understand aspects of social functioning, which has clear implications for preventing the high revictimization rates observed among assault victims. This webinar will provide an overview of some emerging concepts in this new line of research and a discussion of how this may be relevant for clinicians working with child, adolescent, and adult victims of assault.
