I will show you a few reasons they are not the best choice in well tanks. They leak on the top and release all of the air stored inside which is how you store your water. When all the air leaks out, your tank is waterlogged. Waterlogged tanks are the leading cause of premature pump failure! These are a few signs to watch out for that your fiberglass tank has failed and will cause major problems.
