Hi everyone! I’ve been growing my hair out since January and over the years I’ve had a very coarse hair and I’ve used a ton of different oils these are a few that I have worked for me and a few that I haven’t worked for me!

1. Jonathan Van Ness - pre-wash YES! I love the smell I love the consistency the dropper is amazing it doesn’t make a huge mess it feels like it actually sinks into the hair shaft and makes my hair softer I noticed a difference after the first use absolutely love love love this product super impressive Jonathan Van Ness and his team that put it together!
2. OUAI - everyday oil - I love to wear this oil as an every day oiling treatment up at like two pumps in my hair and put my hair into a braid or a low pony tail - I find it to be lightweight but actually soaking into my hair as well not sitting up top actually moisturizing it

VERB - pass (heavy and thick) it smells really good but I feel like that’s about it maybe it’s really good for that slicked back model off duty wet hair kind of look but it’s very heavy and I went to two different bottles of this because I thought this was the best there was but I don’t think I’m going to be really buying it because I feel like it just doesn’t make my hair softer.
5. Bumble and bumble - pass (stays on top) absolutely just sits on top of my hair does not soak in at all. I was underwhelmed and kind of disappointing because I thought it would just be an absolutely amazing product but I did not finish the bottle
