Everlasting. Perpetual. Eternal.

Perennial was a surprise that came to me as I was finishing Nuit. I was at my piano one evening not even thinking about writing another song and a few minutes of playing turned into the final piece of the entire record. I didn't over think it...I just pressed record and kept what I got.

Perennial is teaching me about how music likes to move...it never stops showing up. It is ceaseless in its presentation to us and all we have to do is be available to channel it...
