The sets are nylon strings - Ko'olau Alohi w/3 high G, and w/3 & 4 low G. Ko'olau Mahana all plain, and w/4 low G. Aquila Super Nylgut High G and Low G. And fluorocarbon sets Oasis Warm high G and Smooth low G. Fremont Blackline high G and with the Fremont Soloist Low G. And Worth BT high G. (Messed up and forgot to record the Worth low G set we had ready). We have done things like this before but this is a very popular model and people are always asking what to string it with so we thought we'd offer another data point with a raw sound sample of the most popular string options and some thoughts from Kalei. Note: we kept the level fairly low when recording and there is no compression so as not to cloud any subtleties in tone that can go away when recording. Listen with good speakers or headphones for the most accurate sound differences.
