Samsung Galaxy S9 - Fingerprint Scanner Confusion......

Hey guys . Recently there has been a lots of confusion about the Galaxy S9's fingerprint scanner . Some reports claims that it will have indisplay fingerprint scanner , some says that the fingerprint scanner will be at the back , whereas some says that it might get completely ditched .
Recently Samsung filed for patent for a black notch at the bottom of the display for the fingerprint scanner .
We can't say anything for sure right now but in upcoming days the fingerprint scanner topic will definitely get some more attention .
