Leave the stems: Mantises attach their eggs to sturdy, tall grasses and stalks.

Skip the spray: Pesticides don't just kill "bad" bugs; they wipe out these beneficial predators before they even hatch.

Embrace the "mess": A little wildness goes a long way in supporting local biodiversity.
