this is a weird rule

During the college football game between Baylor and Oklahoma State, a weird penalty was called on Baylor for intentional grounding on a trick play. The wide receiver attempted to throw a pass so he threw it away... but only the QB can throw passes away so he was called for grounding even though a receiver was in the area. Baylor leads 21-13 going into the fourth quarter.
