The Stone Town-St. Marys, ON || Travel Bug Info ||

Spend an afternoon with us in The Stone Town, aka St. Marys in Southwestern Ontario along Highway 7. The town got its nickname due to abundance of Limestone in the vicinity.

Park your car on the driveway and take Via Rail on Toronto-Sarnia Line. Arrive at small but beautiful Train Station located across from St. Marys Water Tower, built in 1900.

Here, you may visit:
-Pyramid Centre: a great Community Recreation Centre
-Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame
-Grand Truck Trail featuring Sarnia Bridge
-Opera House built in 1880
-Public Library built in 1904
-Town Hall built in 1891
-Wildwood Dam on Trout Creek
-Little Falls
-Lind Sportsplex: rehabilitated Limestone Quarry filled with water serving as Canada's Largest Swimming Pool where an Episode of Famous TV Series "All Round Champion" was filmed. (Also at Pyramid Centre)

These are just a few. Explore at your pace and you will be amazed by the lovely community and will leave with great memories.
