Henri Trester: Nocturne in c# minor, Op.14
I'd like to include some information about the composer here, but it seems like his existence is completely wiped out over the years. Even more surprising is the fact, how well rounded this beautiful romantic nocturne sounds and plays. The middle sections are actually not that easy to play, the left hand figurations can be easily mixed up, and so I had to slow down a bit there, as you notice, because I still wanted to have that caressing tone to it. A true gem in my opinion! If you know more about the composer, please post in the comments. Really happy to bring you these very obscure works which are totally forgotten nowadays.
