In this video, we will see how in real real-world scenario, you can configure dual MX records and set up redundant mail servers like a pro.

To set up a mail server like a pro, you should have an email filtering solution like EOP or a Proxmox email gateway server.

You can then set up a redundant mail server by configuring dual MX records, which handle the mail server failover like a backup MX record to achieve mail server redundancy.

YOu can set the MX record priority in the DNS to follow the rules, where to send the email first.

In our case, we are using a Proxmox email gateway server to hold the email in case of failure and allowing our Exchange server to receive email from the outside world.

I assure you that, after watching this video, you will have a clear understanding of how dual MX records work in reality.
