We Take the New Lexus LX 600 F Sport Off-Road

The Toyota Land Cruiser has a cult following here in the US, however sales of the Lexus version of the vehicle have consistently outpaced the Toyota counterpart. This means when Toyota redesigned the two vehicles for the modern era, the Land Cruiser was nixed for American shores in favor of the Lexus LX being the only vehicle in the American market moving forward.

At $106,305, the new LX 600 has a hefty price tag putting it in the company of many more luxurious vehicles on the market. From the Mercedes-Benz GLS to the Cadillac Escalade. The Infiniti QX80 to the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the LX 600 has stiff competition.

Some buy the Lexus LX for its luxurious demeanor, some buy it for its Lexus reliability, others buy it for its off-road prowess. We test it both on- and off-road to see just how good this new Lexus flagship SUV really is, and if it is worth the hefty price tag.
