Beast Morphers Cruise & Smash Beast Bots Action Figures Review [Power Rangers Beast Morphers]

Alongside the first wave of 6 inch action figures for Power Rangers Beast Morphers came the release of the Beast Bots. These are $14.99 each compared to the $9.99 price point of the other action figures. This initial wave includes Cruise and Smash. Overall, I think the figures look pretty good, with a few exceptions. Smash could've used some more silver paint, but I think he is still a pretty solid figure. Cruise looks okay, but the fact that the tire cannot be removed from his hand is a major negative. His articulation is also very limited. Smash features a missile firing action with his fists, which is fine. Cruise's gimmick is more involved and has him transforming into a motorcycle, which is a pretty quick and easy transformation. I think the motorcycle looks pretty decent overall, though it does look like the 6 inch ranger figures seem slightly too big in proportion even though they can fit on it. I like the addition of the Morph-X Keys, which are additional accessories for the figures. They also play some of the character's sounds in the Beast-X Morpher. Overall, I have some mixed feelings about these figures but I think they're still worth collecting. Smash is the better of the two because of Cruise's permanent tire hand and limited articulation, but collecting the Morph-X Keys makes these worth it.
