How long do I have to report my workplace injury to my employer?

Individuals injured in the course and scope of their employment may be entitled to file a workers' compensation claim. We are often asked about how much time a person has to report the injury to their employer. Typically, one has 30 days from the time that they knew that the injury that they sustained was related to some type of work activity or obligations, duties that they were performing in the course and scope of employment.
