Rainbow Falls Hike- Hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains

Got to the Rainbow Falls trail head early on a Wednesday morning in June to hike to the popular Rainbow Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains. This hike is one of the most popular hikes in Great Smoky Mountain National Park and can get quite busy. This trail is 2.7 miles one way to reach the falls with an elevation gain of around 1500 feet. On our trip, I felt that this was the best hike in Tennessee that we experienced as we stayed around Gatlinburg.
