Hi my name is Vanessa I am a survivor of homelessness who has made my way to Van Life. I am a nomad who has been doing VANLIFE for four years on June 30, 2025.

My first van Treasure broke down in January 2025 while I was heading to the RTR IN Quartzsite, Arizona. I was forced to scrap for her $100 because I couldn’t afford the repairs. Fortunately for me I had already purchased a van to build out and turn into my new tiny home on wheels.

I am building out my van at a friend’s homestead in Nevada. Thanks to Ms Charlene who has provided me with a safe convenient place to convert my van without having to move it everyday.

(2) How long have you been doing vanlife? I have been doing vanlife for 4 years on June 30, 2025

(3) what type of van do you have? My first van was a 2001 Ford E 350 v10 cargo van. I am currently converting a 2020 Ford E250 cargo van.

(4) Where did you purchase your van from?!? I purchased my second van from Richie Brothers Auction and my first van from Craigslist.

(5) How much did you pay for your van?!? I paid around $20k or more including tax, title and license. This total is growing daily including the van build.

(6) How old are you?!? I am 57 yrs old.

(7) Are you single?!? Yes I am a single divorced female and I’m not interested in a relationship, I truly enjoy being single.

(8) Do you travel alone?!? I am a solo female traveler. However I do have some nomad friends that I travel with and camp with on occasion.

(9) Were you featured on Tiny Home Tours?!? Yes I was featured on Tiny Home Tours twice. I was featured touring my first van Treasure and I was featured again touring my camper Trailer that I renovated.

(10) Do you still have your camper trailer blessings? Yes I still have my camper traveler. My van is my full time home and I spend time at my trailer when I’m in of need a break.
