Lots of Heavy Rains from Kona Low in Volcano, Hawaii

This weekend we experienced a powerful Kona low in Volcano, Hawaii. This winter weather system brought heavy rain and strong winds, and we'll be sharing with you some footage we captured around our house during the storm. Over 72 hours we got a whopping 20 plum inches of rain.Some parts of the island are receiving up to 3 inches of rain per hour, causing flash flooding and creating dangerous conditions. Even though the Kona low can cause difficulties, it's important for Hawaii's water supply.
