We have the great privilege of being able to utilise team members who have been ingrained in the very battle scene that Pete and so many of us have loved for so long.

Premier Battles are undoubtedly run by people willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the battle scene. What a perfect home to get this battle, and others like it, and the topics contained in them, out to as many people who may be affected by mental health as possible.

Massive thank you to all four guys involved in this battle! What an amazing tribute to an amazing man.

We have 3 more battles to releases from this event. I am also extremely proud to announce that we will be back next year to try and recreate the awe-inspiring energy that was bouncy off the walls on July 28th.

So many people made For Pete’s Sake possible and I’d like to thank each and every one of them. As was stated, this whole event was run on a completely pro bono basis. Massive thank you to every last person who donated their time and energy into making this a success.

Of course, the supporters. What an amazing response from people! The generosity has been overwhelming and I think it’s extremely important we have full transparency regarding our charity fundraiser.

This is the breakdown of all funds received, to be given to Mental Health Charity Mind.

£2,400: pre-sale tickets/donations
£2,000: shared profit deal with the venue
£740.36 PPV Sales
£400: tickets sold on the door
£250: on the live raffle
£215: in the charity buckets

Obviously, there is no right or wrong way to greave, and we support people in remembering Pete in any way they see fit. For us, this was something that felt right, and the atmosphere that was created, with people standing together against mental health was something special.
