How to paint watercolour on tissue paper background - CRINKLY, EXPERIMENTAL, FUN!

Do you wish there was a highly textured surface you could paint watercolours on? It's got to be easy to prepare and made from things you might already have to hand. Good news! Painting watercolours on tissue paper, gives you a brilliant, highly textured background which encourages you to paint in a loose and expressive way. It is perfect for landscapes, seascapes and animal studies - you are only limited by your imagination. You can also use this background for acrylic and mixed media work or even pen and wash. It really is versatile but simple to prepare.
Materials used: watercolour paper (140lb/300gsm), white acid free tissue paper, white glue, brush
If you want to take a full length workshop to paint the highly textured peacock shown at the beginning of the film, please take a look here: https://www.shopkeeparty.com/post/workshop-textured-peacock-with-liz-chadderton
