TESLA vs BMW vs MERCEDES vs MAZDA Total Cost: Are you 'an Idiot' for buying a GAS CAR now??

I have a tendency when I see a person in a new BMW or Mercedes (or other pricey car) to think that they are wasting their money on these cars, and should have bought a Tesla instead. But is that really true? In this video I compare four crossover SUVs by the numbers. I compare the Tesla Model Y (with and without FSD), the BMW X3 M40i, and the Mercedes GLE 350--and add in a much less expensive "mass market" car, the Mazda CX-5. How does the purchase price, insurance, gas/electricity, maintenance, and resale work for all of these cars?
