HOW TO COOK OKRA / LADY FINGERS STEW | SIMPLE INGREDIENTS

A simple recipe for cooking Okra/ ladyfingers also known as bamia in swahili.
We are using the cooking technique of steaming and frying the lady fingers on low heat. This allows us to get the maximum taste from the vegetable itself and lesser ingredients from other spices. This is one of my favourite recipes, I hope you try this out:

Ingredients;
- Okra/ lady finger 1.5kg
- 1 egg plant
-1 Tomato
-1 large onion
- chilli’s (depending on how much heat you want)
- seasoning/ Maggie
- salt
- palm oil 2 cups or less
- your choice of protein ( beef/chicken/ seafood)
