I went down a rabbit hole and found something I feel like more people should know about.

In the 1960s, a town called Easonville was flooded to create what we now know as Logan Martin Lake.

Around 60 families had to leave their homes. Not because they wanted to… but because they had to.

And it wasn’t just one place. Communities like Kowaliga were affected too.

I get it, this brought electricity, jobs, and growth. That matters.

But it also makes me wonder…

How many stories like this just get buried under “progress”?

And if this happened today… would people accept it the same way?
