The 100 Day Dress Challenge

Completing the challenge from woodland.com by wearing the Sierra Tank dress for 100 days and documenting it all on social media. What did I learn from participating in the challenge? How did the dress perform? What was the experience like? And why would I try this challenge?

Beyond just wearing a dress for 100 days to showcase its sustainability and quality - this challenge provided unexpected benefits. And yea - I really loved the dress - 5 stars!!!

I am not new to the concept of sustainable clothing - here are a few other companies who I really love that have sustainable fabrics and practices. As an architect specializing in Eco design & construction, protecting the environment is something that I am passionate about! (I live in a straw bale home that I built for my family in 2007).

NAU - the hoodie I wear in the video is also wool and I have loved their clothing for many years - they also do lots of recycled fabrics.

I also mention MELODIA DESIGNS that I wear under the Sierra Tank dress as my favorite outfit combo. Melodia Designs has lots of bamboo and sustainable fabrics and it is a small company and I love supporting independent women creators. They also have a nice rewards program.

Another great women owned company that I love is OVERTONE - that is how I get the fun hair color (I do it myself easily at home on salon lightened hair). They have a great hair color line that is super conditioning. The colors I used for this look is all pastel - blue at the roots - and the ombre to purple then magenta (I have also used lots of the more vibrant colors as well).
