Lao PDR Achieves Major Health Milestone 🏆

Laos has become the second country in 2023, after Bangladesh, to eliminate lymphatic filariasis (LF). This significant public health achievement highlights global progress in combating neglected tropical diseases. Additionally, India and Laos signed five MoUs, supporting Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) in education, health, water facilities, and IT. Laos, bordered by China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar, continues to strengthen regional ties and improve social welfare.
