Port of Aguadulce in Buenaventura, Colombia

Three major experts have united forces in order to bring to life a megaproject in the peninsula of Aguadulce in Buenaventura, Colombia. Soletanche Bachy Cimas, Soletanche Bachy International and Conconcreto joined the SBCC joint-venture, in charge of the design and build of the Port of Aguadulce.

The 600 m long, 14.5 m deep project was designed and built with outstanding technical and innovative capacities, which enabled to improve its efficiency and quality, to optimise costs and to speed up the constructive process, in addition to collaborating with the local communities. The Port of Aguadulce project represents for Colombia and the region a reference in terms of progress, competitiveness and sustainability for Latin America and the world.

With 19 years of experience as the Colombian market leader, with over 500 sites successfully carried out and 18 port projects in the Caribbean and the Pacific, Soletanche Bachy Cimas is going to carry on working to stabilise the present and build the future.
