The Failed Shakedown Run - Reckless Wrench Garage

Like many of our adventures here at the Reckless Wrench Garage, this one ends with parts multiplying themselves in a bad way and getting towed home! This was the first attempt at a shakedown run on the new front axle and 3 link suspension on the Ranger. The 609 axle performed great and even drove 10 miles in front-wheel-drive alone! The 3 link suspension felt more stable in the rocks and the increased up travel I have on the front end felt much nicer at higher speeds than before.

Even though this trip didn't pan out how we intended, any day in the dirt is a good day. We will be back again soon with more testing of all the upgrades on the Ranger.
