It's been a week since George Floyd, an unarmed black man, had the police called on him
at a deli for suspicion of a counterfeit $20 bill and ended up being murdered by a white Minneapolis police officer named Derek Chauvin who kneeled on the back of Floyd's neck as he was held down against the pavement until he stopped breathing, while other officers stood by and did nothing. Chauvin was charged, but there are still guilty police officers out there, including the remaining 3 officers involved in Floyd's death, who need to be held accountable for their actions! I am not black, but I stand with the black community. I may not understand their pain or the injustices that they face, but I stand with them in this fight. Their pain matters! Their lives matter!
We need to acknowledge and fight against the injustice that occurs in the black community!
