3 Favorite Golden Stories: Scuffy the Tugboat/What Was That!/Theodore Mouse Goes to Sea (1985)

I've recently found a VERY early release by Golden Book Video (and I have a reason to suspect that this might be one of the FIRST releases from the line). Specifically, it's the release "3 Favorite Golden Stories", which adapts... three Golden Books, specifically "Scuffy the Tugboat", "What Was That!", and "Theodore Mouse Goes to Sea".

They are definitely pretty interesting with how Western Publishing handled adopting them, basically just panning around the illustrations from the books and slapping on some animation here and there. It's a bit charming in some ways.

Oh, this is also the first release on my channel to use a new capture workflow I've spent a while working on called "FlagSynth III". Imaginative name, I know. The main differences compared to FlagSynth II is a new capture system which allows me to directly capture component video without using a component-to-HDMI adapter (in this case I use the ES15's component outputs), along with some changes to my AviSynth script. I think it overall looks really nice, although I might still make some tweaks to it.
