Find Your Mojo Process Video: Start with Embellishment Clusters

Sometimes “whole page thinking” can be what’s getting in the way of your creative process. If you find you don’t know where to start, try building some embellishment clusters before you even think about overall page layout. In this video, I show you how to build embellishment clusters that work together on a page, even if you don’t know how or where you’ll use them. I will show you how to use repetition, balance, and variation to make your clusters easy to work with on a page, and still add visual interest to your design. Then, I’ll show you how I build a page that tells an important family story, using those clusters as I go.
Layout took 1 and a half hour to complete and used 3.5 x 3.5 inch and 4X6 inch photos.
