Emuge-Franken is a precision cutting tool manufacturer headquartered in Lauf, Germany operating 9 production facilities worldwide and maintaining sales organizations in more than 50 countries. Emuge also owns the Franken milling company which produces high quality milling products under the Emuge-Franken name. With over 1,950 employees worldwide, Emuge-Franken designs and manufactures premium metalworking tools and clamping devices to support a wide variety of manufacturing industries no matter where they reside.

High Performance Tools
Emuge USA was established in 1984 to better service the North American market with localized inventory and technical support. With over 10,000 different stocked standard taps, thread mills, drills, end mills, tool holders and work piece clamping devices, Emuge offers standard products that are custom made items for others. In 2006, Emuge had out grown its original location and moved into a new state-of-the-art facility in West Boylston, Massachusetts. The new facility houses Emuge-Franken’s Technology Center where skilled engineers host training seminars and help solve customer machining issues. In 2015, Emuge began manufacturing products in the USA with the opening of a reconditioning center for Emuge-Franken cutting tools. In 2019 we added an additional 26,000 sq ft of manufacturing space, including PVD coating vessels, to produce solid carbide tooling in the USA. Emuge-Franken is proud to be a part of a re-vitalized manufacturing sector in New England.
