If your steering column is locked, don’t panic! In a push start vehicle, simultaneously hold down start button as much as you can, depress brake pedal, and gently wiggle the wheel as far left and as far right as you can go. It may get frustrating but keep going, and the wheel will eventually loosen and you can then start your car!

Even though it may be annoying, this is a safety feature. Make sure your wheel is straightened after parking and you shouldn’t run into this issue!
